Inmanyways,missingninthgrademademestrongerandmoreresilient.Ittaughtmethevalueofhardwork,perseverance,anddetermination.WhenIeventuallywentbacktoschoolfortenthgrade,Iwasdeterminedtomakeupforlosttime.Iworkedhardandfocusedonmystudies,anditpaidoff.Igraduatedwithtophonors,andIwasacceptedintooneofthebestuniversitiesinthecountry.However,therewasstillapartofmethatregrettedmissingninthgrade.IfeltlikeIhadmissedoutonsomethingcrucial,andIcouldnevermakeupforthat.Butoneday,IrealizedthatIhadbeenwrongallalong.Ninthgradewasnotjustayearofeducation.Itwasayearofgrowth,development,andself-discovery.
